FIRST WEDNESDAYS An evening of readings, performances and wine tasting. Oregon Literaray Review hosts a monthly reading series, First Wednesday. First Wednesday occurs at Blackbird Wineshop (4323 NE Fremont in Portland, Oregon) and is an evening of literary readings, performances, music, art and (optional) wine tasting on the first Wednesday of each month, 7-9 p.m. We always are looking for writers and performers interested in participating. If you are a writer, a musician, a storyteller, a filmmaker, or any artist interested in showing your work to an audience in an intimate setting, we'd like to hear from you. If we're interested in scheduling you for a future First Wednesday, you'll be hearing from us.
