Videos:
- Mini-me is an exploration and expression of grief over the death of my son in a car accident which happened shortly after his 21st birthday. It contains a slidehow of my art (Faces) consisting of abstract portraits and a soundtrack of music/poetry made in Garage Band. I am dancing improvisationally to audio that is not heard in the video.
- Pleased is a slideshow of more abstract portraits played with music made in Garage Band.
- Loop is a short piece taken from the video Mini-me but the soundtrack consists of sound effects. There is also different poetry on the screen.
- Faces is a slideshow of my art with music/poetry/sound made in Garage Band. The video loops back and forth and at times plays the music/poetry in reverse.
- Hairspray language is an abstract experimental video exploring themes of marriage, family, 9/11 and an homage to a favorite poet. I am dancing improvisationally to different audio than is heard in the video. The audio heard consists of layers of sound; dulcimer, sound effects, poetry, a dream and a recording that was made without my knowledge while relaying a conversation I had overheard at a cafe.
- Collage is a short video consisting of timed stills, photos, home movies and close-ups. The audio has two layers of poetry; a reading aloud of various dreams and a duo of a tongue-twister poem.
