From the Oregon Chapter

WCA is a national non-profit association of professional women artists, art educators, art students and arts administrators. The national caucus was formed in 1972 as an outgrowth of the College Art Association. The Oregon chapter was formed in 1987 to reach out to women in all of Oregon and southwest Washington. Membership has grown nationally to over 35 local chapters. National conferences are held every year in February in different cities in the United States.
